La Pousse D'Or - Les Groseilles Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru

Les Groseilles is a small Premier Cru climat on the edge of the Côte d'Or escarpment in the Chambolle-Musigny appellation of Burgundy. "Groseilles" means redcurrants in French – an appropriate name for a vineyard that produces perfumed, delicate, red fruit Pinot Noir wines in the very centre of the appellation area.

This wine is all that and more. It is generously proportioned, round, and quite seductively textured with lovely fruit intensity and a sophisticated mouthfeel.
