11th generation winemakers, The Boxler family estate is nestled in Niedermorschwihr, in the heart of the prestigious Alsace wine region. The vineyard extends over 12 hectares and was certified organic in 2022.
Their Sylvaner is a blend of different plots of old vines in the commune of Niedermorschwihr. Less and less present in Alsace, Sylvaner, worked with small yields, makes it possible to obtain wines with good concentration, vivacity and a mineral expression. The colour is distinguished by a pale yellow slightly greenish hue.
The nose is lifted and floral with notes of white flowers and spice. It finishes taut with a balanced, medium bodied crescendo.
