Corino - Dolcetto D'Alba

Corino’s Dolcetto vines average 40 years and are planted on clay/limestone soils that are managed through sustainable/organic viticulture. The fruit crop is kept to low yields through pruning twice in summer, and the fruit is hand-harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts. The fruit is macerated and fermented in horizontal rotary fermenters, and racked to stainless steel to mature for 8-10 months and bottled unfined/unfiltered with very minimal sulphur.

This is a vibrant, expressive Dolcetto with terroir! The aromatics take you to La Morra, there is rich morello cherry, black cherry and an earthy caramel note that speaks of the soil. The palate is very generous with red/black cherry, subtle dried rose/violets and a fine tannin. Delicious, gluggable, bottled joy… just add pizza.
